I believe that we all have a narrative and I define narrative as everything we have done, everything that has affected us, and the connections between it all. This narrative is our life story, now just because we all have a story does not mean we process our lives in this way.
Strawson disagrees with the assertion that it is the universal human condition to remember your life in terms of a narrative. I also disagree, I feel anyone can for a narrative from there life but it only natural for some and vital for few. Most people can live their lives day to day without consciously or unconsciously spinning their life stories and be no worse off than those who do. This is the idea of falling into the rhythm of life.
For some however namely those who feel lost or off- plot in their story taking the time to analyze and define their life and how they got there grants the clarity they need to know where they are and where they want to go. For some people, however, this analyzation happens naturally and organically perhaps saving them some turmoil but I would have to say this is the exception to the rule.

I love that you take control of your definition of narrative. That’s important! Well done!
I love this passage, “For some however namely those who feel lost or off- plot in their story taking the time to analyze and define their life and how they got there grants the clarity they need to know where they are and where they want to go. For some people, however, this analyzation happens naturally and organically perhaps saving them some turmoil but I would have to say this is the exception to the rule.”
You seem to reflect on story-telling as a tool. Now, that’s interesting!
